How do I set up a trusted mobile device?

After you complete the process of opening an account at Openbank, you’ll sign in to your account by using online banking (at login.openbank.us) or on our mobile banking app. In both cases, you’ll be prompted to set up a trusted mobile device before you can proceed. The good news: it’s fast and easy.

If you’re on the Openbank app:

  1. Sign in with your User ID and password.
  2. Follow directions to set up a trusted mobile device: set up your fingerprint or facial recognition, and then confirm that you’d like to select the device you’re using as your trusted mobile device.
  3. Once you confirm, you’re all set.

If you’re using online banking:

  1. Sign in to online banking.
  2. You’ll be prompted to download our mobile banking app and set up a trusted mobile device.
  3. When you download the mobile app and sign in with your username and password, you’ll then be taken through the steps to enroll your trusted mobile device.
  4. After you finish this process, you can use either online banking or the Openbank app for your digital banking with Openbank.
