What is a trusted mobile device?
A trusted mobile device is a specific smartphone or tablet on which you’ve:
- Installed the Openbank app
- Enrolled in fingerprint or facial recognition
Essentially, this security measure ensures that your face or fingerprint are the keys to your account. You’ll need to register a trusted mobile device to perform any sensitive or non-monetary actions, such as changing your account or contact information. Once it’s set up, you can perform any action on that device without any additional approval or security steps. If you’re performing actions on any other device, we’ll send a push notification to your trusted mobile device to get your approval before we proceed.
